Mihai Păduroiu for Bursa: “We estimate multinationals’ moves from Asia to Central and Eastern Europe amid the pandemic”.

In a recent interview for Bursa newspaper, Mihai Păduroiu admits that he expects to see more multinational companies’ moves from Asia to Central and Eastern Europe, in the pandemic context. In addition, he believes that our country has an advantage due to the skilled workforce and infrastructure that can accommodate these companies. Regarding the labor market, the CEO Office Division OUP considers that remote working was a temporary solution to the restrictions generated by the lockdown and that demand for office spaces has not decreased.

“The pandemic crisis may also generate opportunities. We expect to see more multinational companies moving from Asia to Central and Eastern Europe. Romania has the advantage of a skilled labor force and an infrastructure that can accommodate these companies. In terms of workplaces, the next step will probably be the office near home. We are currently developing three mixed-use projects - One Floreasca City, One Cotroceni Park, and One Verdi Park and with these, we will offer numerous functions and facilities within a single community: exclusive design apartments, class A offices, LEED and WELL certified, commercial spaces, green spaces, and outdoor and relaxing areas.”
