The Christmas Trees Festival is one of the most important business charity events in Romania that brings together entrepreneurs, business and public figures in a fundraising show focused on educational projects. Every year a group of famous designers and public figures join for a spectacular night that also includes a display of each designer’s artistic Christmas tree, followed by an auction. Save the Children Romania is a non-governmental association which has been promoting children’s right since 1990. In the 22 years of activity, over 750,000 children benefited from the organization’s programmes. Save the Children is involved in several education programmes, social protection and advocacy for children from poor families, children who are victims of violence, children living in the streets, refugees etc.
